Michelle Alexander

Leads With Experience

Michelle Alexander, Executive Director at Corinthians Retirement Community, loves her job. "The residents and our dedicated employees make coming to work a pleasure," says Michelle. "We have so much fun getting to know our residents and doing our best to enhance their quality of life."

A graduate of the University of North Texas, where she attained a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, she has spent her career in the social services field prior to joining Corinthians Retirement Community six years ago.

Michelle is a native Texan and currently lives in nearby Lewisville. She spent most of her childhood in Red Oak, but has lived in Denton County for nearly 25 years. Michelle loves to do anything that involves being outdoors. When she is not working, you can find her riding four wheelers, camping, fishing, hiking, or scuba diving. She also is an avid reader and loves to travel, especially in the Caribbean.

"Prior to entering Senior Living, Tammy worked for a Real Estate Attorney in Dallas for 11 years. Tammy is a resident of Lake Tawakoni which is east of Rockwall and lives there with her husband and two children, but she was born and raised in the Dallas area. She loves to work in her garden in her spare time. Tammy and her family love to camp and be outdoors.

Rassan is a New Jersey native, a United States Army veteran and is currently finishing a graduate degree in applied anthropology with a focus on geriatric studies and advocacy on behalf of seniors. Rassan migrated to Arlington in 2007 to attend the University of Texas. He enjoys traveling, fitness, literature, film and cuisine.

Makes Move-Ins Easier

Billy Hatfield, calls Corinthians his home and considers our Residents and his fellow employees as his family. He helps new Residents transition into their new home at Corinthians. From downsizing from their homes to setting up new services to arranging furniture, Billy cheerfully assists Residents and their families to help make the new move go smoothly.

Billy is a native Texan and attends college at Collin County College in Frisco. His motivation in life is his faith in God. He considers himself blessed by the people in his life and the opportunities that have been granted to him. When Billy is not working he enjoys hunting, fishing, coaching wrestling and, when it snows, you will find him snowboarding.

Catarino Gonzalez

Dining Services Director

Dining Services Director, Catarino Gonzalez brings experience and passion to Corinthians Retirement Community. Catarino grew up in Zacateacas, Mexico; and became a US Citizen in 1999. Catarino began working as a cook over 30 years ago. He started out as a cook in a hotel; but promptly graduated to becoming a sous chef. He worked as the Executive Chef at a hotel before joining the Corinthians team as the Dining Services Director, over 11 years ago.

Catarino loves working at Corinthians because he says it is like having a second family. He prefers the senior housing industry over working in a hotel because it provides him the opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with the residents. His goal is to always make the residents happy.

When Catarino is not working, he loves to play and coach soccer. Catarino lives in Irving with his wife and one of his sons. His two oldest sons are in college and live nearby. Catarino prefers spending time with family over anything else.

Mari Hickey

"As a Business Manager I get to deal with all the residents and their family members on a very personal level and all I can say is that I absolutely love it!" Mari has seven plus years of Apartment management and when she joined the Corinthians team, she thought she would be doing the same thing she had been doing for so long but to her surprise she ended up finding her passion in life.

Mari was born in Puerto Rico, but moved to New York with her mom when she was eleven years old. When she was 17, she moved to Texas with her sister. Her sister has since moved, but Mari chose to stay in Texas where she met her husband Michael. Mari loves animals and collects frogs. She is also an avid Hockey fan and loves to travel.
